About Us
Club owner Judit Rajhathy has twenty years experience as a Nutritional Consultant and accredited Acupuncturist (D.Ac. Canada), well-known national health lecturer (Canada), former fitness instructor, and author of the best-selling Canadian health book Free to Fly: a journey toward wellness.
Judit’s notes:
I spent the past twenty years helping others achieve a better quality of life through diet counseling, detecting and treating hidden food allergies, encouraging the use of natural supplementation, and later employed acupuncture and other modalities when needed.
I worked 12 hour days in a busy clinic that I owned and operated, lectured coast to coast, raised two beautiful children and then wham! Before I knew it menopause hit along with a lack of activity! All of a sudden I had packed on a good forty pounds! So here I was helping all these people and I was no longer really walking the talk.
Enough already! It was then that I decided to dedicate the next twenty years to being fit. Prior to being a healthcare provider I had spent years in the fitness industry and remembered how great I had felt being physically active.
And why Mexico? Because within three days of being here, I, like so many others, fell in love with the gentle energy of the Mexican people – their sense of priorities, community, pride, openness, kindness and knew that I had much to learn. By being here I also would like to give back to the community, so as soon as Change of Pace has over 150 yearly members, my commitment is to offer some of the proceeds to the children of this community. What is better than to get fit and at the same time help those who need it? So here I am – ready, willing and able!
I am very excited about this venture . . .
So let’s walk the walk together . . .
Hope to see you soon!
